+  channel-memory-types.hpp:31:59: error: 'uid_t' has not been
+  declared; did you mean 'pid_t'?

+CAUSE

+The header uses pid_t and uid_t without including <sys/types.h>.
+With glibc, those types leak in through the other included headers.
+musl's headers are seemingly stricter and don't declare them
+transitively.

+SOLUTION

Considering upstream's feedback on this patch, I believe we should:

1. Drop our patch

2. Disable lttng-tools on architectures that don't build

Actually this was five years ago; in the meantime, we've had
`--disable-tests` available since commit 6ba949601 ("common: Provide
--disable-tests configuration option"), included in both v2.15 and
v2.16.

Kienan wrote the patch to be able to build LTTng-tools on a system that
doesn't have libbabeltrace2 (tests need that now). So it wasn't written
with your use case in mind, but `--disable-tests` achieves the
same thing.
