Latest nouveau_drv.so version string is 0.0.10, but nouveau_dri.so apparently
expects something higher. These two expectations need to be brought in line in
the checked in code or a bit more description on how to overcome this in the
"How to compile and use nouveau" section is needed.

I "hacked" the nouveau_drv.so version string to 1.2.0 in the config.ac and got
it to run. Make my glxgears stats jump from 300+ fps to 1500+ fps!
Unfortunately it froze Linux after about 5 minutes. Still needs some work :-)
So keep up the good work!

You've either got an outdated libdrm, or an older mesa. The new versioning is
intended (0.0.10 is the current drm version). We also don't care about the old
dri tree anymore.

As a note, this kind of bug does not deserve blocker status.
