dmx3191d scsi driver needed

I need a driver for the dmx3191d SCSI card.  The card came with a Umax
scanner.

Is there a driver that someone can recommend?  I have seen results when I
use Google, but I am wary of using code that is not from a trusted source.

What about the dmx3191d.c that comes along with any 2.6.x kernel?

It is named "DMX3191D SCSI support" in the SCSI drivers Kconfig menu.

Some of the el-cheapo 53c drivers used to work for the Domex
DTC31whatverE, but you'd probably be better off getting a real
chip. Tekram DC-390 are cheap, as are controllers based on a NCR or
Symbios 53C810A.
