Subject: No sound on Motorola V300 cellphone
Date: Thu, 23 Nov 2006 05:45:31 +0000 (UTC) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ek3chr$ctk$1@sea.gmane.org> (raw)
Hi. When I connect my Motorola V300 phone via a USB cable, I'm not able to
get it to play any sounds and alsamixer tells me "No mixer elems found".
More details of this problem can be found at
https://launchpad.net/bugs/61009 . Daniel Chen (crimsun) told me that he
won't have any time to look into this during the current Ubuntu release so
I thought I'd post here.
Is the fix as simple as adding some ID's to a list or is something more
required?
Thank you in advance,
Johan
