Hi,
For a few days I have been posting bugs and recipes on bugtracker for
sharprom-compatible. I noticed I was not the only one, showing that a
few people are still interested in maintaining good support for this
distro.
Could it be possible to add it to the list of distros in the
bugtracker (in the listbox, when submitting a bug for openembedded)?
That would make easier to filter bugs to solve.

Good idea. In the meantime just make your Sharp ROM bugs block 1657.

It doesn't hurt to have this bug still open as well. We should close it when
all SharpROM-compatible issues are closed.

Probably never. Then again, OE was not designed to build packages for
ancient systems such as the SharpROM. OE actually does a good job in
supporting existing binary-only distributions, but where it shines is
not that but rather creating modern distributions from scratch.

No question. But even at the core, I hardly imagine ever having 0 open
bugs in the BTS. It is just not possible nor desirable.
