I'm unable to compile alsa-utils 1.0.18rc2.

Not sure what an "older system" has to do with it as I'm fairly certain 
the tarball is just missing several files from GIT.....

Several of these files are not in the tarball....

These are missing in Makefile.am and thus not included in the tarball.
I fixed on git now.
