Is tc applicable to IPv6?

Is there an alternative way of traffic shaping that runs on IPv6?

Thogh I was searching the web for weeks, I couldn't find an answer to that
question. I'm asking because I experienced, that it does not work. Is that true?

I'm thankful for any comment

Viktor

tc does not have hooks to filter ipv6. Schedulers are mostly unaware of the
protocol of the packets they schedule, so they don't care. SFQ for example
is explicitly aware of IPv6. But there are no filter commands.
