Subject: [LARTC] non-ethernet devices and QoS ?
Date: Fri, 09 Aug 2002 19:35:34 +0000 [thread overview]

hi,
I'm just evaluating to use Cyclades PC300 card instead of a Cisco router... and 'cause I have never used such boards so I wanted to know will I be able to do egress shaping on this board ?
(It should be connected to the ISP with FrameRelay protocol (V35)) ... and as far as I can understand it will be seen in linux as hdslN device !! (not sure).
So will I be able to work with it as a normal ethernet device ?!
Sorry for the stupid question, but I have to be sure it will work
thanx alot
raptor
