hi all.

this is my network

	  ----- eth1
linux box |
	  ----- eth0

those nic connect me to my default router (172.0.0.1) and then to the
internet. I always used one NIC but now, i need two. i thought using
teql to merge those in one and then, route everything over thtat teql
interface..i tryed this and did not work:

(after kernel 2.4 recompilation with QOS stuff)

# /etc/init.d/networking stop
Deconfiguring network interfaces: done.
# ifconfig
(shows nothing: OK)
# route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use
Iface
(shows nothing: OK)
#
(set the interfaces i want to attach to teql0)
# tc qdisc add dev eth0 root teql0
# tc qdisc add dev eth1 root teql0
#
(set the ip address of those interfaces to my teql iface, those ips
where the one i used to have in my NIC)
# ip address add 172.0.0.81/24 dev teql0
# ip address add 172.0.0.82/24 dev teql0
#
# ip link set teql0 up
#
#
(set a default route to the device where my router is..used tyo be wth0,
now teql0)
# route add -net 172.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev teql0
(set a default route to my router)
# route add default gw 172.0.0.1
#
# route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use
Iface
172.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0
teql0
172.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0
teql0

teql0
(look that all goes to teql)
#
#
# ping 172.0.0.1
PING 172.0.0.1 (172.0.0.1): 56 data bytes

--- 172.0.0.1 ping statistics ---

#
(nothing works)..

what could be wrong? im doing this because originaly, im planning to
connect two cable modems in my house, and do some BW balancing...
