Hello all,
: I'm concerned that I choose the correct iproute2 package for my kernel.
: I'm also unclear about whether the "2.4" and "2.2" in the iproute2 package
: name refers to the kernel series supported, or if this is simply
: coincidence.
:
: So, should I use iproute2-2.2.4-now-ss001007.tar.gz with my 2.2 kernel?
This is probably known, but I asked what version of iproute2 I should use
with my 2.2.x kernel. After experimentation, it appears that the
iproute2-2.4.7 release works just fine with the 2.2 kernel series.
So, I answer my own question for posterity.
