hi all:
i have just read advance route howto and maillist, then i try to limit bandwidth.
i installed a computer, the os is Redhat 7.0,there are two net cards.then i set two
ip range,192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0,so i connect each othe in ipmasq,then i divided
bandwidth in Commands of Adv Route howto, then i found i can limit upstream,i can't
limit downstream.i think tc can't know ip address which has been masqed.
then i read howto again,i found,i must setup a linux router if i want to limit upstream
and downstream.then i look up some software, gated can do this? who can tell me how to
setup a linux router? LRP?
thanks
lihao
