Hi all,
I'm using a Linux Red Hat 7.2, with Kernel 2.4.7-10, and i
tried to just plug in an e-gate USB connector for which i have installed
the driver and it is supposed to be a Plug&Play device, however it
doesn't, and i didn't do cold plugging, i waited for the system to
bootstrap and then i connected, so should i update my kernel?(if that
would make it easier), re-install the hotplug rpm('cause i noticed some
hotplug files which are mentioned in the man pages are not on my
system), or any other suggestions would be most welcome. Thankyou in
advance.
Regards,
Sim
