Ok. Anyone out there know if there are any kernal patches for PCI
soundcards yet? ie. the SoundBlaster PCI64... If not, can anyone
comment on any projects or plans to create these drivers?
Thanx!

Use the es1370 driver, available in 2.1.late, or Alan Cox's sound
port for 2.0.3x (ftp://ftp.linux.ork.uk/pub/linux/alan/Sound/). Or
grab it straight from Thomas Sailer's pciaudio page:

Will the es1370 driver work with the Soundblaster PCI128 too?
I'm assuming that it will not work with the Soundblaster
Live, but has anyone started writing a driver for the
Live?
Thanx.

Not having fiddled with one, I can't be completely certain,
but I'm pretty sure that either the es1370 or the es1371
driver will work with the PCI128. Someone who owns one
could provide a definite answer.

Not that I've heard of, although I could be mistaken. I would
guess that the OSS commercial drivers will support it before
a freely available driver will, though. (http://www.opensound.com/)

I contacted OSS about this yesterday and they said then that they
expect to have the docs from Creative some time in Dec this year.
