I like to vote with my dollars when possible, and since Trident wrote and
released an ALSA driver it seems like they'd be a good choice. I'm just
wondering how good they are. Boy are they cheap at onsale.com.

I'm not a huge audiophile, so extreme quality isn't important. I can tell
the difference between mp3's and CDs but it doesn't bother me. Can I
expect decent sound without too much noise out of one of these cards? How
would they compare the the SB16 and SB32 I've been using?

 Sincerely,
