the SUN part # is X1030A and 595-3375-02

any info is appreciated....

the PCMCIA controller is (according to SUNS sheets)
a STB4040 PCMCIA controller YET
looking at the SBUS card it says AT&T doright

according to the SUN docs it supports (under solaris 2.5 or higher):

modems
serial interfaces
ethernet
memory
flash cards
ata hard disks

I have one of these chips in a SPARC Voyager. No support for it in
SPARC Linux. It's not even clear if there's anyone left at Sun who
can find the documentation on how to program it.

What are the odds that Sun might release the driver software for this beast
to any of us?
