Sound on Sun Ultra 5

I am running Ultra Linux on a SUN ULTRA 5 and the sound is not working
properly.  The problem I am having is as follows:

When running sndconfig it start to play the file and I hear Hello and
then my terminal locks up.  It sounds like an IRQ issue to me but I can
not locate a file to try to change this setting.

If you have any suggestion they would be greatly appreciated.

Either, finish writing the driver, or wait until I have time:-)

Basically, I've been quite busy as I'm working and finishing my degree,
only 4 years late, so the ebus version of the 4231 driver isn't done yet.

Then perhaps it should be removed from the list of "supported"
hardware on ultra.linux.cz. Knowing this, I'll stick with sol 2.6 on
my u10 as I really don't like living without my mpeg :)

The 4231 *is* supported, just not on the PCI based machines. So removing
it from the list is also wrong:-)
