Hi,

I'm trying to run l3fwd-power application for 2 Port with queue. Always
only queue 1 of port 0 and port 1 are utilized.
CPU C-state, hpet are enabled,  ports are binded to igb_uio.
Tried with NIC's x772 (10 GbE) and XXV710(25 GbE), Observed same behavior.

Per my debug log, the CPU ID is actually DPDK current core ID on NXP ARM64 platform whose socket ID is always 0.

NACK.

This is incorrect, probably a misunderstanding: the params->cpu_id is already the CPU socket ID (passed as parameter), and not the core ID. For core ID, we typically use variable names as core_id or lcore_id, and never cpu_id.

the tlv len is set to the total len of the wmi cmd, it will trigger
firmware crash, correct the tlv len.

Tested with QCA6174 SDIO with firmware
WLAN.RMH.4.4.1-00017-QCARMSWP-1 and QCA6174
PCIE with firmware WLAN.RM.4.4.1-00110-QCARMSWPZ-1.

SOC15_WAIT_ON_RREG macro initialize its ret variable before the while
loop that can time out. This macro's return value is always checked so

Was there any discussion on the upgrade scenario for existing 
deployments as far as device-rename changing node descriptions?

If someone is running an older version of rdma-core they are going to 
have a certain set of node descriptions for each node. This could be in 
logs, or configuration databases, who knows what. Now if they upgrade to 
a new version of rdma-core their node descriptions all automatically 
change out from under them by default.

Of course the admin could disable the rename prior to upgrade and as 
Leon pointed out previously the upgrade won't remove the disablement 
file. The problem is they would have to know to do that ahead of time.

The existing code uses two handlers for a shared edge-based MSI interrupts.
In corner cases, interrupts are lost, leading to IPC timeouts. Those
timeouts do not appear in legacy mode.

This patch merges the two handlers and threads into a single one, and
simplifies the mask/unmask operations by using a single top-level mask
(Global Interrupt Enable). The handler only checks for interrupt
sources using the Global Interrupt Status (GIS) field, and all the
actual work happens in the thread. This also enables us to remove the
use of spin locks. Stream events are prioritized over IPC ones.

This patch was tested with HDaudio and SoundWire platforms, and all
known IPC timeout issues are solved in MSI mode. The
SoundWire-specific patches will be provided in follow-up patches,
where the SoundWire interrupts are handled in the same thread as IPC
and stream interrupts.
