Subject: empty initcall section
Date: Thu, 09 Sep 2004 16:57:38 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <s1408b8c.007@sinclair.provo.novell.com> (raw)

I just pulled the latest, and the initialization code for the writable
pagetables (ptwr_init) isn't running at boot time, so Xen crashes.

It appears like there is nothing in the .initcall.init section:
fc551aa0 g *ABS* 00000000 __initcall_start
fc551aa0 g *ABS* 00000000 __initcall_end

I would have expected to see ptwr_init listed.

I don't know linker scripts, but perhaps xen.lds is out of date?

Thanks.
