I did this partly because the sound apps and programming that I found for it seemed really exciting and partly for the obvious microsoft-rules-the-world stuff. Realizing that the card isn't supported on linux was a great disappointment. I have lots of time on my hand, alot of programming experience, some C experience and I know some stuff about the internal workings of the kernel. Is there anything I can do to make the card work?
