Hi,
(i posted the mail with the full text but it was stopped because of
its too long length. now resent without the howto text itself.)
the draft version of ALSA-drivers-writing HOWTO is found at
http://www.alsa-project.org/~iwai/alsa-drivers-writing.txt
it's a result of merge from my last two posts to alsa-devel ML and
additional sections. it's not comprehensive yet, but includes most of
necessary topics when you start writing a driver.
it's written in a plain text file, because i wanted to finish writing
as quickly as possible. if someone helps to convert it to more
sophisticated formats such as SGML or DocBook, it would be greatly
appreciated.
please give any feedbacks and corrections!
ciao,
Takashi

Hi Takashi san,
I would like to convert, too! Also need guidance.
About the geode driver. I am in the "setting fields of chip" in
snd_geode_probe() --> snd_geode_create()
Regards,
Alamy Liu
