Kernel is 2.6.0-test8-mm1, patched with -exec-shield-nptl

modprobe.conf contains: options snd-via82xx dxs_support=1
but I get the same oops without this option...

it's a known problem which i cannot reproduce on my system.
a workaround is to enable frame pointer in the kernel config.

i guess it's related with the gcc version or so...
