Hello,
The first version of my patch had a few glaring errors. This
update fixes the following issues:
* HW In level meters were broken
* The last PCM Out meter was broken
* S/PDIF channels can now be controlled with -s, --spdif
* The Patchbay/Router and Analog Volume tabs now accurately reflect the
number of requested channels in all cases.
This update does not include the requested vertical layout changes. If
I have the time, this is on my TODO list.
The patch against 0.9.3 is included below, and available from
http://poplar.seitz.com/~ross/envy24control/envy24control-control-limit-v2.diff
Testers would be greatly appreciated - especially those with cards other
than the Delta44.

thanks!
i committed your patch to cvs (with some fixes of comiplation warnings
and addition to manpage). please check whether it's ok for you.

I just tried to checkout the code from cvs on a Debian woody box (cvs
version 1.11.5) and a Slackware 8.1 box (cvs version 1.11.2) and both
give the error:
ross@turalyon:/usr/src$ cvs -d ':pserver:anonymous@cvs.alsa-project.org:/cvsroot/alsa' login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.alsa-project.org:2401/cvsroot/alsa
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
I'm not logged in, and so checkout doesn't work. I tried the web
interface, but it doesn't seem to have my changes.
At any rate, I'm sure your checkin was fine - but it does seem that CVS
is having some issues...

Sourceforge does this when too many people are trying to access the CVS
servers. You have a better chance of success if you try it when everybody
else is sleeping (which is easier if you're living in a different timezone :).
