Hello,

This doesn't apply to the onboard sound card. only usb.

I get the following when I interrupt my usb soundcard (ctrl-c):

I am running kernel 2.6.0 test9
alsa version : Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 0.9.7 
(Thu Sep 25 19:16:36 2003 UTC).
Compiled on Oct 26 2003 for kernel 2.6.0-test9-1-386.

it's a known problem.
in the cvs version, there is a module option unlink_async, which will
(hopefull) solve this problem.  it's disabled since usb-uhci driver of
2.4 kernel seems buggy regarding to handling of async unlink.
