so...  Im trying to add midi clock to my sequencer.  I cant seem to find 
any
code except for the Syncing ALSA document by Takashi, and thats seems out 
of
date.  Where those sync functions taken out of the 0.9.0 releases ?  Am I
going to have to just make tick events and schedule them in the queue with
the rest of the events?

no, it's not there.
i've tested but found out that it's too big for drivers.

this is of course always possible.
