Hello,
I’m a french user of Linux (Ubuntu Studio 7.04) and can’t install my new
hardware (M-Audio Firewire 410).
I’ve send a mail to the M-Audio’s technical support, but they have no
solution. They recommended me to contact yourself.
Could you help me for this problem. Do you need more informations about my
computer hardware ?

The M-Audio 410 is not supported in Linux.
For firewire on linux check freebob.sf.net and ffado.org.

Them referring you to this list is not really honest. They perfectly
know the 410 does not work with Linux.
