Summary:                    No sound on ASUS A8N-VM CSM
Description: 
No sound on ASUS A8N-VM CSM, chipset nForce 430 (HDA nvidia) don't have
sound on the speaker but found by kernel 2.6.15 and exist with alsamixer
!
I don't any issue in the line :
options snd-hda-intel model=???? position_fix=1

I don't know where is the problem !

Once try without model option and the patch mentioned in the ealier comment
(it must be trivial to apply manually even if conflicted) to make sure
that still works with CVS version.

Anyway, open another bug instead of hijacking the problem of a different
machine.
Even with the same codec chip, the problem can be (most likely is) quite
different.
Then, upload /proc/asound/card0/codec#* files and /etc/asound.state after
"alsactl store", not pasting to the input form.
