If I want to send you a patch for snd_usb_audio, is there a git repo +
branch or something else which I should base it on?

At best, for-next branch on sound git tree, if it's targeted for the
next kernel.
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tiwai/sound.git
For an urgent fix for 3.18, use for-linus branch.
Takashi
