Hi,
I am working on a project on an AR drone ( Linux 2.6.32 ARM ) and i try to
install a TL-WN722N WIFI usb adapter.

it is really old kernel. Use wireless backports or wireless-testing

And this is really old firmware. Use git if possible:
https://github.com/qca/open-ath9k-htc-firmware
there are some changes which you will probably need.
I know, if it wont work you will replay. But i would like to get feed
back if it works too ;)

I use backports (3.12-1), I have changed the firmware and used git. Now I
have version 1.4 but nothing has changed.

Yeah, I know but I would like to resolve this problem whitout changing
kernel because it is quite difficult ( Parrot patched 2.6.32 linux kernel
for the ARdrone )
Do you think it is a problem with EEPROM registers ? I will try to write
some printk( ) in the code to find where it does not work.

I have found a solution ! :)
I tried to use "iw" command and now it works !
On ARdrone system, this key does not work with wext but works with nl80211

I am working on a similar project, I have an AR Drone version 1 and I need
to install "iw" on it because the tools that there are (iwconfig, iwlist..)
would not allow me to configure in mesh mode an USB dongle I want to attach.
I am strugglin to cross compile it because it has a lot of dependencies. I
even tried to copy it from a Raspberry since they also use ARM, but I can't
execute it I don't know why.
So I'm just asking how did you manage to install it
I guess you have AR Drone 2.0, does this comes with iw?
Your help will be much appreaciated :)
