I have a Broadcom BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] (rev 01) wifi card which i'm using with the b43 driver (Archlinux).

It has a very limited signal detection radius compared to the broadcom-wl driver (tested on Ubuntu, same machine).

Is there a way to boost the signal detection radius?

Thanks.

Probably by implementing some power-management, but noone is working
on this, most attention is paid to the newer hardware.
