I can confirm, crashes without, fixed with. Thanks!
I've forced pushed a cleaned up tip/x86/core. Also:
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/peterz/queue.git x86/ibt.bpf
is a merge of that and bpf-next
