I have a problem with buildroot under Cygwin

And if you remove gettext, wchar and locale options, can you get a clean 
compile ?

you need to install gettext and ncurses on cygwin

I do not think that Buildroot can be built using Cygwin.

Better to use VMware or similar if you need to build under Windows.
