Hello,
I have just updated the pre-built Buildroot toolchains used on the
autobuilders, with the following changes:
- All toolchain have been rebuilt with Buildroot as of commit
de4b45d5e70dd5d2431b0f44aeda60b033ecff11.
- The br-arm-cortex-a9-glibc configuration now uses gcc 6.x instead of
gcc 5.x
- Many toolchains now use 4.6 kernel headers instead of 4.5 (i.e only
the toolchains that use the "latest" kernel headers, other toolchains
continue to use older kernel headers)
- br-microblazeel-full is now using uClibc instead of glibc.
- br-bfin-full has been added, it's a pre-built Blackfin toolchain
built with Buildroot (gcc 6.x, binutils 2.26 and uClibc-ng)
The addition of two gcc 6.x based toolchains will certainly trigger a
good amount of new build failures.
Best regards,
Thomas

Hello,
I have deployed a new set of Buildroot toolchains, not all of them, but
a few ones that needed to be rebuilt:
- br-arcle-hs38
Rebuilt to benefit from the
895-arc-define-_REENTRANT-when-pthread-is-passed.patch patch, to have
_REENTRANT defined.
- br-arm-cortex-a9-glibc
Built with the new glibc 2.25
- br-aarch64-glibc
br-mips32r6-el-hf-glibc
br-mips64r6-el-hf-glibc
br-nios2-glibc
br-powerpc64-power7-glibc
br-powerpc64le-power8-glibc
br-sparc64-glibc
Rebuilt with glibc 2.24, the new default glibc version
The new toolchain based on glibc 2.25 might cause some build issues, as
it's the first toolchain that uses this glibc version.

Hello,
FYI, I have updated the pre-built Buildroot toolchains used by
autobuild.buildroot.org.
Main changes are:
- Most toolchains now use gcc 6.x (instead of 5.x), since 6.x is our
default version.
- I've switched one toolchain to use gcc 7.x (br-arm-cortex-a9-glibc),
so it's our first toolchain using gcc 7.x. You can expect some gcc
7.x issues.
- uClibc 1.0.25 is used.
- Toolchains that were using gcc 4.8 are now using 4.9, since we have
removed support for 4.8 in the internal toolchain backend.
- Most toolchains now use 4.11 kernel headers instead of 4.10, because
there is a variety here, with some toolchains using 3.10, 4.1, etc.
I'm keeping some disparity here, just to test various combinations.
