Hello,
I noticed that libvte is not in buildroot, can someone please add it?
That lib is a terminal emulator widget for gtk and I am a little surprised that it isn't in there (since we have gstreamer and other common gtk stuff already).
For convenience, website: https://github.com/GNOME/vte

Thanks for your suggestion. Why don't you send a patch adding this
package? This is how open-source works: if something isn't done yet,
it's because nobody did it, so it's up to you to contribute what's
missing :-)
Best regards,
Thomas Petazzoni

Ok, as you correctly assumed I am a newb to open-source contributions - hence my unintended ignorant suggestion.
I took a look at the list again, and it seems as if someone was unexpectedly quick on his feet:
http://lists.busybox.net/pipermail/buildroot/2018-January/211713.html
Should I attempt to make a patch for this or leave it to him?
Best Regards,
Eric

Since Stefan has taken up the task, I believe what you could do to help
is test his patch, and report if it works for you (or not).
Thanks!
