What I mean by "listing the first order dependency is enough" is that
instead of:
depends on BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_SYNC_4 # pango -> harfbuzz
you write:
depends on BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_SYNC_4 # pango
