Ok i was thinking you only want toolchain dependencies here.
Is it ok to write something like that:

comment "lutok needs a Lua 5.1 interpreter or above"
    depends on BR2_INSTALL_LIBSTDCPP && \
        (!BR2_PACKAGE_HAS_LUAINTERPRETER || BR2_PACKAGE_LUAJIT)
