I should have emailed about this earlier, i didn't miss the hash, in fact it's perfectly fine, look at http://download.pureftpd.org/pub/pure-ftpd/releases/distinfo The md5 hash stated there matches my previous tarball and my previous tarabll sha256, and the file timestamp predates the tarball... so upstream pulled a switcharoo. I'm ok with the revised hash since it matches the signature, but it wasn't my fault :) Regards. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 14+ messages in thread

I didn't meant to be offensive in any way about your work here, really just wanted to fix the problem, nothing more. Sure let me send a patch for that. Actually I just understood that when sending my patch for switching to arc-2015.06-rc1 I completely forget to rename folders with patches in binutils, gcc, gdb. Please pardon my stupidity - I hope on next RCs and on release I'll be more careful. Patch is on its way. -Alexey ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 14+ messages in thread

Thanks for that. I started to look at this one and didn't understand right away how binutils of version arc-2014.12 were put in the picture. I missed the fact that it was internal toolchain and we requested binutils to be built anyways. > > arc | host-gdb-arc-2015.06-rc1-gdb | NOK | http://autobu > > ild.buildroot.net/results/2b27a4a64c0b225ae479ecfccf7a97f5ea95598c/ > > The infamous static/shared issue when building gdb. Can you have a look? Filed an internal STAR 9000921771 against that issue. Alexey, can you have a look? Indeed this is a known problem and it is already fixed in https://githu b.com/foss-for-synopsys-dwc-arc -processors/gcc/commit/24d956f3dced0e9abb6b8b140d44061628e0e57f That means it will make its way in arc-2015.06-rc2. Do you think we may just wait for rc2 to be cut or you prefer me to add mentioned fix as a patch to gcc? -Alexey ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 14+ messages in thread

This one boils down to uclibc for powerpc not supporting ucontext functions (sigsegv.h includes ucontext.h which includes conditional on __UCLIBC_HAS_CONTEXT_FUNCS__ sys/ucontext.h which defines ucontext_t). Since libsigsegv isn't used in general by any package i think excluding the combination would be best. I'll send a patch. Regards. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 14+ messages in thread

In the f2fs-tools case it's not that simple since sys/queue.h is BSD-3c licensed and couldn't be easily included in a GPL-only source i think. Maybe we should just disable it for musl for now? Why so? According to http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.en.html, the BSD-3c is compatible with the GPL, i.e you can include BSD-3c code in a GPL project.
