Hi Alexandre,

I used fio with the librbd engine via cbt (a tool to build ceph clusters 
and run benchmarks / monitoring / valgrind / etc)

You can see how fio gets invoked here:

The settings for these tests are:

benchmarks:
   librbdfio:
     time: 300
     vol_size: 16384
     mode: [write, randwrite]
     op_size: [4194304, 2097152, 1048576, 524288, 262144, 131072, 65536, 
32768, 16384, 8192, 4096]
     concurrent_procs: [1]
     iodepth: [64]
     osd_ra: [4096]
     cmd_path: '/home/nhm/src/fio/fio'
     pool_profile: 'rbd'
