Hi!

New -cip release should be available at kernel.org.

Trees are available at

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cip/linux-cip.git/log/?h=linux-6.1.y-cip
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cip/linux-cip.git/log/?h=linux-6.1.y-cip-rebase

And their content should be identical.

There are also tar archives, at:

https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/cip/

Best regards,
                                                                Pavel

Did you push the tarball of this as well? I find 6.1.101-cip26-rt14 but
only 6.1.101-cip25.

Let me retry. I got some weird problems with tags while pushing (it
seemed like linux-6.1.y-cip is not only head but also some other
object type).

Hopefully it works. If not, at least I should get some kind of error
message in my inbox.

Best regards,

So tarball should now be there.

Sorry for confusion,

So this one is confusing to me:

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cip/linux-cip.git/tag/?h=linux-6.1.y-cip-rebase

This is _tag_ linux-6.1.y-cip-rebase. We also have a branch
linux-6.1.y-cip-rebase. IMO the tag is a mistake.

Thanks, works now.

Without knowing all the details: I have the impression that there are
traps in the upload process so far. Maybe it is possibly to automate
them further and also share that automation across the cip maintainers?

We already use the script we got from kernel.org, but yes, it is a bit
unfriendly. Basically you go from shell workflow to web for testing,
back to shell, and then to email for tar creation. I'll try to improve
this.
