well, one suggestion though.
format ChangeLog so it is suitable for inclusion in drbd.spec,
(plus date and author), and include it there.

bugfixes go into ChangeLog as they are fixed and committed,
not with the cumulative changelog with the next release.
which would be as of now the log message of my last commits:

It would be nice, to have 0.7.x officially uploaded to Debian.

David Krovich, the Debian maintainer of DRBD, seems to be on vacation. 
His last activity - upload drbd 0.6.12-6 - dates back to 2004-06-09.

I think, I should write a friendly mail to David.

But if he does not answer, how long should we wait?

And which actions should we suggest to the Debian-devel community:

- a NMU (Non Maintainer Upload) of the latest 0.7.x

- an upload to experimental? (see 
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-mentors@lists.debian.org/msg13227.html, 
but this was written on 2004-05-16, and drbd 0.7.x is nearly stable now 
- isn't it?)

- motivating Bernd Schubert to become Co-Maintainer of drbd

- asking debian-mentors@lists.debian.org for a solution
