[Drbd-dev] inclusion of DRBD ro mainline kernel?

Hello,
I'd like to ask, whether any efforts have been made to have drbd
included in mainline kernel? Or -mm at beginning? Or is something needed
to be done before that? It seems to be working quite well (although I've
noticed some problems on 2.6.17 on amd64, so I just decided to stay with
2.6.16, but anyways).
So is there some time estimate? Or list of things that need to be done
before?
I'd like to help, if there is something I could do...

yes, if you call "is on our todo list" effort :)

we won't attempt this for 0.7 for various reasons,
so we'll wait until drbd8 has stabilized.

wellll.  should be release canditate by september,
released by october. maybe sooner, maybe later.

no.
