What is the minimum version of .NET and OS that is necessary to successfully run it? Thank you for your answer. Best Regards Lukáš Rumpala ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 2+ messages in thread

If you want to run the Git Credential Manager, you will need .NET v4.5.1 or later (which you should have anyway, if you followed all recommended updates). Git for Windows just *barely* still supports Windows XP. If you want to ensure that it keeps supporting Windows XP, you are welcome to participate actively in the project.
