Hi,
On OSX (ppc 10.4.8), I'm unable to run gitk --all. Without arguments,
gitk seems to work fine. This is with git version 1.4.2.4.g3453.
There error message is surprising because the line before has:
.bar.view entryconf 2 -state normal
and there is no complaint there about -state being unknown...
ziti:~/proj/bioc-2.0-git$ gitk --all
Error in startup script: unknown option "-state"
while executing
".bar.view entryconf 3 -state normal"
invoked from within
"if {$cmdline_files ne {} || $revtreeargs ne {}} {
# create a view for the files/dirs specified on the command line
set curview 1
set selec..."
(file "/Users/seth/scm/bin/gitk" line 6283)
Thanks,
+ seth
