* [PATCH 2/3] lib/gpgpu_shader: add function for computing max number of threads per tg
From: Jan Maslak @ 2025-07-01 13:53 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: igt-dev; +Cc: gwan-gyeong.mun, Jan Maslak
In-Reply-To: <20250701135307.68147-1-jan.maslak@intel.com>

Adds function compute_max_threads_per_tg() that computes the maximum
allowed amount of threads in a thread group for XE2-3 platforms.

* [PATCH 1/3] lib/gpu_cmds: expose num_threads_in_tg parameter for tests
From: Jan Maslak @ 2025-07-01 13:53 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: igt-dev; +Cc: gwan-gyeong.mun, Jan Maslak
In-Reply-To: <20250701135307.68147-1-jan.maslak@intel.com>

Expose parameter num_threads_in_tg in (gen8|xehp)_fill_interface_descriptor
functions, so that it can be set from the tests.
Also update rest of the code to accommodate this change, passing in
the default value - 1.

* [PATCH i-g-t v1 2/2] tests/kms_flip: Remove assertion dependency on link reset retry condition
From: Naladala Ramanaidu @ 2025-07-01 11:01 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: igt-dev
  Cc: karthik.b.s, uma.shankar, mitulkumar.ajitkumar.golani,
	arun.r.murthy, Naladala Ramanaidu
In-Reply-To: <20250701110149.395301-1-ramanaidu.naladala@intel.com>

This change avoids test failures in scenarios where hotplug detection
is inconclusive or delayed. The call to link reset is retained for
its potential side effects or logging purposes, but it is no longer
part of the assertion condition.

* [PATCH i-g-t v1 1/2] tests/kms_flip: Adjust pass rate threshold based on frame rate
From: Naladala Ramanaidu @ 2025-07-01 11:01 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: igt-dev
  Cc: karthik.b.s, uma.shankar, mitulkumar.ajitkumar.golani,
	arun.r.murthy, Naladala Ramanaidu
In-Reply-To: <20250701110149.395301-1-ramanaidu.naladala@intel.com>

For high frame rates (>120 fps), the pass rate threshold is reduced
from 85% to 75% to account for increased timing sensitivity. This
change improves test reliability on high refresh rate displays,
where occasional frame drops are more likely due to tighter frame
intervals.

* [PATCH i-g-t v1 0/2] Relax link reset and frame rate checks
From: Naladala Ramanaidu @ 2025-07-01 11:01 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: igt-dev
  Cc: karthik.b.s, uma.shankar, mitulkumar.ajitkumar.golani,
	arun.r.murthy, Naladala Ramanaidu

Improves test stability by adjusting pass rate to frame rate and
removing link reset assert to avoid false failures.

Naladala Ramanaidu (2):
tests/kms_flip: Adjust pass rate threshold based on frame rate
tests/kms_flip: Remove assertion dependency on link reset retry
    condition

This is up to you, if these will be present in Xe driver
then yes, you could have igt_assert_f.

* [PATCH i-g-t] fast-feedback.testlist: Reorder dmabuf and i915_selftest
From: Peter Senna Tschudin @ 2025-07-01 10:34 UTC (permalink / raw)
To: igt-dev; +Cc: Peter Senna Tschudin

On older hardware, we have observed failures in the
igt@dmabuf@all-tests. Preliminary evidence suggests that the failures
may be caused by earlier tests. Specifically, the igt@i915_selftest@live
tests are suspecious.

To mitigate potential interference, this change swaps the execution
order of the igt@dmabuf@all-tests and igt@i915_selftest@live tests in
the fast-feedback.testlist.
