Can you help add actual pannel-lvds compatible string to clean up these
warning?

Over 50 lines warning related this one.

next-20241018, all warning under arm64 freescale is 814. My local tree
is about 138 line.

If you can help fix this warning,  It should reduce to below to 100 line
warnings.

Would it make sense to change panel-lvds.yaml to allow a single
panel-lvds entry?

Not sure! there are bunch of compatible string in panel-lvds.yaml.
Maybe device-tree team require a specific panel information for it.

Can you help check it?

Today, linux-next, there are only 157 line warning left under freescale.

imx8mm-verdin issues contribute at least 50 line warnings.

It is quite close to zero warnings.

I do not think that allowing just panel-lvds in the compatible is going
to be fine from the DT maintainer point of view.

Adding a specific compatible will not solve the issue, because we can
connect different kind of display there. Doing this will get rid of the
warning however.

We could remove the node completely, but this would create some
regression we need to figure out how to handle, minimizing the impact.

Unfortunate there is not a perfect solution, IMO the best solution is to
remove the node, but I need to find some time to look into the evil
details.

Did you have chance to check this? Now v6.14-rc1, only 65 lines waring
under arm64/freescale. About 50 lines belong to this warning.
