Subject: Commit Message Tags for Testcases
Date: Tue, 3 Dec 2013 18:14:21 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20131203171421.GO27344@phenom.ffwll.local> (raw)
Hi all,
Paulo poked me to make the testcase tag in the sob-section of commit
messages official:
Please mention testcases which exercise the new feature your patch adds or
the bug it fixes with a tag in the sob-section of your commit message like
this:
Testcase: igt/kms_setmode/clone-exclusive-crtc
The igt/ prefix is to differentiate from other testcases, in case a bug is
most easily reproduced with e.g. piglit+mesa. The testname should match
what piglit uses.
Cheers, Daniel
