Subject: [PATCH 00/11] drm/xe/display: Transparant fallback from stolen to sysmem.
Date: Mon, 20 Jul 2026 18:14:52 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260720161451.384968-13-dev@lankhorst.se> (raw)

Copy the initial framebuffer from the stolen region to system memory
when deciding to keep the device's framebuffer, instead of re-using the
stolen memory.

Patch 1-6 are part of a different series and should be reviewed there.
The HACK is a test to always force the copying to system memory path.

Maarten Lankhorst (10):
  drm/xe/ggtt: Add xe_ggtt_reserve_area
  drm/xe/ggtt: Add xe_ggtt_node_remove_noclear
drm/xe/display: Reserve the original GGTT space before creating a bo
drm/xe/display: Use the correct calculation for phys_base on
    integrated
  drm/xe/display: Remove duplicated code
  drm/xe/ggtt: Remove xe_ggtt_insert_bo_at
drm/xe/display: Avoid using stolen memory for framebuffer when media
    gt exists.
drm/xe/migrate: Support copying between sysmem and stolen
drm/xe: Raise gt frequency slightly earlier.
  HACK: Always fallback

Ville Syrjälä (1):
  drm/i915: Introduce intel_bo_fbdev_bios_fb_takeover()
