Subject: [Intel-wired-lan] [RFC PATCH 12/20] ixgbe: Only DMA sync frame length
Date: Mon, 19 Dec 2016 12:11:52 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20161219201152.27116.36483.stgit@localhost.localdomain> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20161219200456.27116.28900.stgit@localhost.localdomain>

From: Alexander Duyck <alexander.h.duyck@intel.com>

On some platforms, syncing a buffer for DMA is expensive. Rather than
sync the whole 2K receive buffer, only synchronise the length of the
frame, which will typically be the MTU, or a much smaller TCP ACK.
