args->num_syncs comes from userspace and may be large or fuzzed.
When kcalloc() attempts a large allocation, the allocator may emit
warning like below, even though the driver already returns -ENOMEM
safely.
Suppress it by using __GFP_NOWARN when allocating the sync array.

So IMO we need to restrict num_syncs to some reasonable number, and if
the allocation is persistent we should add __GFP_ACCOUNT.

Neither allocation is persistent - the kmallocs here only live for
execution time of the IOCTL.

There is another series to restrict the num_syncs [0].
Both series could fix the issue. And I think we could have both series.
What is your idea about it?
For [0], there is concern about the max value of num_syncs, and may lead to
failure in UMD. I also prefer to have the restriction. Let me continue to drive [0].
