I'm a Computer Science student, and as a project I have to contribute
to the community by uploading a simple change. And I would like to
know if there is an updated TODO list. I've been searching around but
all I found was a list last updated in 2009.
I'm sorry if my spelling is not perfect, as I'm not a native english speaker.

I don't know if there is one. But one approach is to look at what others
have done recently and see whether those things need to be done elsewhere.

These days we just say to pick something from staging and work on it.
Staging is full of a variety of code which is almost ok to code which is
total crap. There are security bugs, locking bugs, every single type of
bug you can imagine all the way down to white space messiness.
