This made me curious, so I asked around. Apparently it stands for "Thomas,
Ingo, Peter" because it started out as a shared tree for Thomas Gleixner, Ingo
Molnar and Peter Anvin.
Today, it should really be called TIPPBD, because it's also shared with Peter
Zijlstra, Boris Petkov and Dave Hansen.
